
AirDocs is an on-premise or hosted Document and Content Management solution based on Open Source technology from Alfresco. Highly scalable and robust, yet extremely cost effective, AirDocs has the ability to revolutionise the way in which your staff collaborate on, process and archive documents.
AirDocs is not your standard installation of Alfresco though. We have added a number of modules and customisations of our own, making AirDocs ideal for single departments such as Finance or HR, as well as scaling for enterprise-wide deployments.

How we use AirDocs:
Finance: Our finance department scans all mailed supplier invoices and pushes them through an approval workflow process. Emailed invoices are automatically pushed into a pending que ready for processing.
We have numerous lists recorded in AirDocs such as sofware licenses, vehicles, supplier web site login details. Whatever we can forget or couldnt find in the past is recorded here.
HR: All staff contracts and personnel files are stored electronically within our AirDocs installation. We use a holiday and sick day approval workflows and all time sheets for contractors are scanned and uploaded so we can easily verify their hours. All company policies are available on the corporate Wiki.
Sales: AirDocs has become an integral part of our sales department, we hold all information on suppliers and their pricing within our sales site. We also keep all of our proposals and contract specifications in the system, this enables any member of our sales team to review and give informed answers to incoming client questions. We also use AirDocs to collaborate on tenders, for each tender we receive we start a new collaboration site and put together a bid team who can share information. The shared calender helps to enable all staff to see critical dates and meetings.
Projects: Rather than sending documents out by email and re-issuing a contract with changes, we create a project site and invite our customers in to access the resources there. They can then view the contract and collaborate with us. Versioning allows changes to be shown easily. The project site allows us to create a task list that then can see.
For us, AirDocs started as a simple system that stored incoming invoices and has transformed to an enterprise-wide solution used by all members of staff regardless of their business function.
If you have heard of Sharepoint but arent a Microsoft company or dont have the internal resource to develop or customise it, AirDocs is for you. A fully managed solution with no hefty up front fees for licensing.
